Apple says the MacBook Pro using the M4 chip will have 3.4 times faster performance than the MacBook Pro using the M1 chip launched 3 years ago. Similarly, MacBook Pros using M4 Max and M4 Pro chips will have 3 and 3.5 times faster performance than MacBook Pros using M1 Max and M1 Pro chips.
